OK, sorry for a recent lack of updates. There won't be one this week as I am away on Boys' Brigade Camp at the Isle of Wight. Then I'm back for a week before heading to Jamaica for a fortnight to undertake mission work. I'll see if I can get a few articles to you in the week in between though, so stay tuned.

Layout (you're looking at it!)
Layout revamped, new content

Hello all! Now that my exams are over and done with, I get some free time to work with, and I just finished a complete revamp of The Solar Sanctuary that completely obliterates the old one in terms of quality. The biggest change is aesthetical - this layout took quite a bit of work to put together, and as I'm sure you'll agree is much better than the old version. Trouble with it is that now the forum once again looks dated. I just can't win can !? I used Photoshop and ImageReady to put together the main layout, then assembled everything in Dreamweaver (now that I'm used to it, it's taken over from FrontPage as my main web editor, so once I get some tutorials down my neck I should be able to start improving this place even more).
On top of that, there's now a section dedicated to graphics and custom design, which is currently a little barren but should soon (hopefully) include a shop where you can order customised graphics made to your liking (I will charge for anything complex but I'll do stuff cheaper than most graphic designers out there, trust me), as well as tutorials, tips and tricks. New articles are in the works, and since I have lots of free time now there should be a nice regular flow from me at least.
Next, I've added a Site History page in which you can view the illustrious *cough* year-and-2-months history of The Solar Sanctuary, including the old layouts and similar stuff which will make at least 1 and a half people go all teary eyed and nostalgic. Or not.
The site updates have been moved to their own page, freeing up the articles section. There is now full navigation on the left there, and everything in the Links section (without the descriptions) has been placed on the right there. Of course that way, you wouldn't be able to use the fancy buttons up top, but whatever.
That about does it for this update. Enjoy the new layout, and I assure you there will be more content soon.
EDIT: I've now added "What's New" at the top of this page, so I don't have to write an article about the update every time I make one :P These "major" updates will be saved for when a lot of content is added.
